Brian Richeson is entering his 17th season with the Rays and currently serves as Vice President- National Sales and Special Projects. In this role, he takes a national approach to corporate sales with outreach to national companies and agencies. His past roles at the Rays include VP of Sales and Service, VP of Sales and Marketing, and VP Corporate Partnerships.
He joined the Rays in 2007, after eight years with the Arizona Diamondbacks as director of season ticket and legacy club sales. He began his career with the Kansas City Royals group sales department in 1998.
Richeson earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri. He currently serves on the executive board of directors of Leadership Tampa Bay after serving as president of Leadership Tampa Bay in 2012-13, board of directors of the Hillsborough Education Foundation, Florida Sports Foundation and on the advisory board of Visit Tampa Bay. Richeson is also a MacDill Air Force Base Honorary Commander.
He and his wife, Nichole, reside in Tampa with their son, Brett.
