The Business of Diversity in Sports and Entertainment (BDSE), in conjunction with the National Sports Forum and Legends, recognizes the need for more programs supporting the importance of diversity in the front office. Since 2013, the NSF aims to increase the opportunities for up-and-coming ethnic minority and/or women sports professionals to have access to the senior-level best practices of revenue-generating responsibilities within the industry and networking opportunities that have set the NSF apart.
Each year, the BDSE Committee selects 32 up-and-coming diverse professionals to join the BDSE Cohort at the annual National Sports Forum Conference. The information and networking opportunities available to the Cohort through the BDSE program and during their time at the National Sports Forum provides a unique platform to continue to grow their career.
If selected by the BDSE Committee, Cohort members are awarded a complimentary, all-access badge to the three-day National Sports Forum Conference. BDSE Cohort members are invited to attend the two-day BDSE Workshop at the beginning of the National Sports Forum. This exclusive workshop focuses on professional development, career development, and best practices for promoting diversity within the sports & entertainment industry. Once the Workshop concludes, BDSE Cohort members will have the opportunity to attend 3 Super Panels, choose from 24+ Breakout Sessions, and attend exclusive networking events during their time at the National Sports Forum.
