Marcia Steinberg

Marcia Steinberg is entering her sixth year with the NBA as Vice President, Team Marketing & Business Operations (TMBO) department, a group responsible for growing NBA, WNBA, NBA G League and NBA 2K League team profitability through strategic consulting on all aspects of business operations, including marketing and digital, ticket sales, sponsorships, suite sales, customer retention, fan engagement, communications and social responsibility. Steinberg acts as the league’s Account Manager for the NBA and serves as a strategic partner to the WNBA.

Before joining the NBA, Steinberg spent three and a half years with City Football Group (CFG), serving as the Vice President of Marketing, Media and Fan Relationship Management for the New York City Football Club and overseeing ticketing strategies across all CFG clubs including Manchester City Football Club, Melbourne City Football Club, New York City Football Club and Yokohama F. Marinos. She also held positions at Madison Square Garden with the NY Knicks, Rangers, Liberty, MSG Sports, Frisco RoughRiders, Tampa Bay Lightning and consulted for teams and leagues domestically and internationally.  Steinberg is a Graduate of Tulane University, where she was a member of the Women’s Golf team. She is a native of Bradenton, Florida and currently resides in New York, NY.
