Charlie Slonaker

Charlie is currently Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) with the Philadelphia Union.  A native of Dayton, Ohio, Charlie attended the University of Dayton earning a degree in Sport Management.  After several internships with the Dayton Dragons, Charlie began his career with the Minor League Team as an entry level ticket sales rep.   After two seasons, Charlie jumped to the big leagues as a ticket sales rep for the Cincinnati Bengals.  After leading the team in ticket sales all three years, he progressed to the management side of the business with the Chicago Fire as Manager, Season Ticket Sales.  Charlie’s team still holds the club record for most new season tickets sold in a season.  Following two years with the Fire, he moved to Indianapolis to work for the Indiana Pacers where he was the Director of Group and Consumer Sales.  During his three plus years, he was responsible for hiring and recruiting over 20 entry level ticket sales reps that earned promotions.  Following his three year stint in Indy, Charlie joined the Philadelphia Union in 2016 to head up the ticket sales department.  Under Charlie’s leadership the Union ticket sales staff has grown revenue by approximately 128% and were one of four teams to sell out every MLS game in 2023.  In 2021, Charlie took over the Sponsorship Department and has worked closely with key corporate partners such as Subaru, Bimbo, IBX, and WSFS Bank.
