The Los Angeles Chargers are connecting their suite owners to the Los Angeles lifestyle by granting exclusive access to best in class hospitality, business, and entertainment benefits year round.

PROGRAM TITLE

The Los Angeles Chargers Kick Off a Reimagined Suite Owner’s Package


Objectives: 

The Los Angeles Chargers are looking to create some electricity on and off the turf this year, alongside the debut of SoFi Stadium, their new shared stadium. The team is building that Hollywood feeling with their suite owners. The Chargers are introducing a first-of-its-kind lifestyle package for suite owners. Say hello to Chargers LUX. This premium membership service will act as a one-stop-shop for all of the tools needed to succeed in business today. LUX means “connect”, and boy do the Bolts mean business. The team hopes to redefine what it means to be a suite owner, and the Chargers LUX Program does just that. The LUX membership is a valuable business tool to help them drive powerful connections, both professionally and personally, by providing priceless access to Los Angeles culture. While enjoying their favorite team, Chargers LUX hopes to make happier fans while simultaneously showcasing the Chargers’ partners. Ultimately, the Chargers hope to provide the best possible experience to the LA Chargers family, on gameday and beyond.

Program Description: 

In September of 2019, the Chargers officially announced the Chargers LUX program for their suite owners. The membership program is an all-encompassing experience and all Charger’s suite owners automatically become a part of Chargers LUX at no extra cost with the purchase of a suite. The venues and perks included are Spring Place, PS (formerly known as Private Suite), dedicated LUX concierge by Velocity (the company behind Velocity Black), and more! Spring Place is a members-only club venue, perfect for hosting and networking with the best and brightest minds that LA has to offer. PS is a private airport terminal allowing members to bypass the normal annoyances of the airport for smoother sailing. Chargers LUX members also have access to the LUX app – a personal assistant mobile messaging app exclusively from Velocity. Aside from these three large partnerships, Chargers LUX members will have access to monthly happy hours to further network and build relationships.

 

Activation: 

While members cannot currently meet face to face, suite owners have enjoyed virtual happy hours. One of these experiences included learning how to create specialty drinks from LA’s hottest mixologist. In fact, Corey English, Chargers LUX Member, praised the events saying, “I never miss a Chargers LUX event and this was no exception. You never know what you are going to get when you join a virtual event but this was above and beyond my expectations.  I didn’t realize Larry was going to tell such a heartfelt story about the draft whilst we made cocktails. I really enjoyed it.” Members were introduced to Chargers’ former first-round draft pick, Larry English. English shared his draft story from 2009 with the LUX members that were able to be a part of this virtual event.

Partnership: 

The goal of the program is to highlight, recognize, and promote the partnerships allowing for Chargers LUX to be so unique. The Chargers organization hand-selected the best-in-class partners because they add unique value that enhances the professional and personal lives of suite owners. They plan to expand to additional partners in the near future, as they continue to invest in the most premium experiences for their fans. The Chargers Organization, Spring Place, PS and Velocity are partnering to bring Chargers LUX to suite owners. Together, these organizations fill out a roster allowing members to enjoy networking, building relationships, access to unexpected experiences throughout the year and their favorite team with the best in-game experience the NFL has to offer.

Results: 

The Chargers’ innovative take on a suite owners membership package has only just begun. The benefits of the program are sure to help Chargers LUX members succeed in cultivating connections and furthering their business and personal aspirations.

Looking Ahead: 

Chargers LUX will be available for the 2020 season at the all-new SoFi Stadium, with plans to expand this offering in the future with an eventual roll out to club seat owners. With the new season quickly approaching, the Chargers have been doing their best to be innovative during these challenging and unprecedented times. The team has been continuing to bring their suite owners, and all Chargers fans, together virtually to continue to build relationships, momentum and excitement for the upcoming 2020 season.
