Member Bio

Kristi Simmons joined Sporting Kansas City in November 2020 on the Partnership Marketing team. Kristi services multiple accounts on behalf of Sporting KC including Central Bank, UMB Bank, Azura Credit Union, Constellation Brands, Tito’s Vodka, and others. Kristi is tasked with providing exceptional service to corporate accounts and driving new revenue through renewals. Before her time at Sporting KC, Kristi was with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx where she supported the Corporate Sales and Activation team in a hybrid role between the two departments. Kristi also serves on the Emerging Leaders Board for the Kansas City Sports Commission where she actively secures funding for the Kansas City Sports Commission annual staple event and supports several initiatives including the 2026 World Cup, Sports Awards Banquet, and more.

Kristi earned a Bachelor of Science in Advertising Management from Michigan State University and a Masters of Sports Administration from Ohio University. She was born in Jackson, Michigan and currently lives in Kansas City, Kansas.
