Shaneika Dabney-Henderson is an Emmy-nominated producer who was born and raised in New Orleans and graduated from Loyola University with a BA in Mass Communications. She was a NABJ scholarship and Carole Simpson Award recipient as a student journalist. She worked in television news for 15 years at both the local and network level before transitioning to sports journalism in 2015. Shaneika was the first black, female Coordinating Producer at the NFL Network before taking the role as VP of production for the Saints and Pelicans. She also launched a website dedicated to female football fans called “Chicks in the Huddle” which was active for 10 years and named by Shape Magazine as one of the top websites for female sports fans, in addition to being profiled on CNN. Shaneika and her husband Michael share their home with 3 sleep-suckers aka their children – ages 6, 4, and 2.
