Senior Manager, Partnership Activation
Safia Diab is entering her eleventh season with the 49ers, serving as Senior Manager of Partnership Activation. In her role, Diab leads multiple aspects of corporate partnership activation initiatives and campaigns including strategic marketing campaigns, social and digital media campaigns, hospitality and community events, on-site gameday activations, media assets, partnership contract renewals, and building relationships with partner brands. She has collaborated with major brands like Bud Light, Pepsi, Frito Lay, Gatorade, Microsoft Surface, EA Sports and more.
Diab first joined the 49ers as a part-time front desk receptionist/office manager at the team headquarters at the SAP Performance Facility in Santa Clara. Soon after taking that position, she was hired into the team’s corporate partnership department. In 2021, the team set a franchise record for partnership revenue. They also secured the highest new partnership revenue in over 7+ years and the highest partnership renewal rate in over 10+ years. Diab recently contributed to the 49ers being recognized as the Bud Light NFL Summit Gold Partner of the Year for the 2021-22 season thanks to her outstanding partnership.
Originally from Louisiana, Diab graduated from Louisiana State University in 2005 with a BS in Marketing. She participates in the 49ers internal employee resource group – Women Connect – which aims to foster an environment in which women feel connected and supported.
Diab and her dog, Goldie, currently reside in San Jose.
