Speaker Bio

Morgan McLeod is currently an account director with Playbook for Health, a boutique sports marketing agency that works predominantly in the healthcare space. In this role she oversees numerous accounts and works closely with her clients to develop and execute programs that leverage sports partnerships to drive business objectives.

Prior to joining Playbook, Morgan worked at VCU Health, overseeing the health system’s sports partnerships and community outreach initiatives. Morgan’s background also includes positions with the Washington Nationals and Washington Commanders, working in their corporate partnership and marketing departments. Morgan is active in industry and community organizations. She is a coach with her local chapter of Girls on the Run, as well as a member of WISE (Women in Sports and Events). Morgan was nominated to the 2018 Business of Diversity in Sports and Entertainment cohort at the National Sports Forum and has worked with the NSF since 2019 to create an annual breakout session specifically targeted for healthcare systems and teams to discuss trends and best practices from their partnerships.

Morgan graduated from Christopher Newport University with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and graduated from Georgetown University with a master’s degree in sport administration. While born and raised on the East Coast, Morgan currently lives in Salt Lake City, with her husband Tyler and their fur baby, Ollie.
