Speaker Bio

Mario grew up near Scranton, Pennsylvania where he attended Misericordia University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. In 2010, Mario started his career with the New York Yankees as a Sales Intern and then was quickly promoted to a Sales Associate on the Inside Sales team. The next year, Mario joined the Season Ticket Sales & Service Team where he was responsible for successfully driving revenue, managing a book of business, and providing a high level of customer service. He was promoted to the New York Yankees Premium Sales Team where he held two positions including a senior role where he generated revenue, provided sales training for new sales staff and managed a book of business consisting of the top clients in New York City.

Mario now is the Manager of the New York Yankees Inside Sales Program where he oversees three sales teams and is focused on recruiting, training, and developing top sales professionals. Mario is also an Adjunct Professor at New York University where he teaches a Revenue Strategies & Pricing course for the Masters in Sports Business program.

Mario is excited about returning to NSF after attending the Annual Conferences in Minneapolis in 2017 and Dallas in 2018, returning as a Committee Member with the ISM Workshop and leading a breakout session sharing his best practice tips on recruiting, onboarding and company culture to ensure success.
