An established sports marketing professional, Lisa Ferkul has worked at Scotiabank since November 2011, after launching here career with the Toronto Argonauts Football Club. Specializing in brand strategy, negotiation, planning and relationship management, Lisa was a key member of deal team that negotiated the transformational $800MM MLSE partnership expansion including the naming rights Scotiabank Arena, as well as official bank status of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors. Recognized in 2018, as one of the most influential women in hockey by the Toronto Star, Lisa was also identified as one of George Brown’s 5 To Watch in 2017, an annual recognition of five of the most influential and accomplished Canadians under the age of 40 in the business of sport.
Lisa is an active member of the sponsorship marketing and sports industries, holding the position of Vice-Chair on the Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada, a mentor with the Toronto chapter of Women in Sports & Events (WISE), as well as committee roles with the Greater Toronto Hockey League Community Pillar and the BlackNorth Initiative’s Sports & Entertainment division.
