Director of Business Strategy
Gordon Barfield is currently the Director of Business Strategy for AMB Sports & Entertainment, the parent company for the Atlanta Falcons football team, the Atlanta United soccer team, and Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Gordon leads strategy development, strategic planning, and key initiatives across the organization. He has also led Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s transition to a cashless transaction model, making it the first cashless NFL/ MLS stadium in the United States.
Prior to joining AMB Sports & Entertainment, Gordon worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company and as an infantry officer in the US Army. He graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
