Dan Kaufmann has nearly 20 years of sports marketing experience. He has worked in minor and major professional organizations and mid-major and major collegiate athletic levels. In his current role at the New York Jets, he focuses on solving and delivering strategic business solutions to companies and governments. Dan has played a role in entitlement rights for multiple partners at MetLife Stadium, the world’s largest grossing stadium.
Before joining the New York Jets, Dan worked at the University of Wisconsin/Badger Sports Properties (a division of Learfield Sports) and at University of Toledo/Rocket Sports Properties (a division of Learfield Sports) in Toledo, Ohio. He helped Rocket Sports Properties get into the black for the first time in their history. Before Learfield Sports, Dan spent over four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in servicing and selling season tickets, group tickets, and luxury suites. Before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dan started his career with the Pensacola Ice Pilots of the ECHL.
Dan earned his BA from Hamilton College. He also earned his Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Marketing from the University of Tampa. Dan is currently working on his Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of South Florida with his Sports Sponsorship Sales Cycles Dissertation within North American Sports. Originally from Scottsdale, AZ, he currently resides in Morristown, NJ, with his wife Marie and their three dogs.
