Vice President of Development and Philanthropy
Chris Wood joined the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame in June of 2022 as the Vice President of Development and Philanthropy. In his role, Wood leads all fundraising efforts with a focus on preserving and expanding the traditions and mission associated with the Hall.
Before joining the College Football Hall of Fame, Wood served as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development at Army West Point, where he oversaw all athletic fundraising for the Academy. He was the lead fundraiser spearheading a $125 million dollar capital project campaign to renovate historic Michie Football Stadium. Prior to West Point, Wood held the role of Deputy Athletic Director at High Point University in North Carolina. While at High Point he was responsible for all athletic fundraising, corporate sponsorship sales, season ticket sales, and athletic marketing.
Wood also spent three years as Vice President of Corporate Sponsorships for the Winston-Salem Dash minor league baseball team, as well as holding ticket sales positions with both the Carolina Panthers and Winston-Salem Dash.
Wood is a graduate of Wake Forest University. He currently resides in Dunwoody, GA with his wife, Megan and their two kids
