As Senior Vice President of Ticket Sales and Services for the Washington Wizards and Monumental Sports & Entertainment’s Franchise properties, Bill Hanni oversees all sales and retention efforts for MSE’s NBA, WNBA, NBA G League, and AFL franchises. He has been part of Monumental Sports since it’s inception in 2010, overseeing the growth and expansion of a department that now includes nearly 100 sales and service professionals selling a full menu of products across all MSE properties. Under his guidance, the Wizards have reached franchise high water marks across all metrics, including the full season ticket membership base, tickets sold, total revenue, and retention. Hanni began his stint in Washington in 2008 as Director of Inside Sales for the Washington Capitals prior to MSE’s merger with Washington Sports and Entertainment. In this role, he developed the Capitals’ first Inside Sales team that was part of a sales campaign that began a run of unprecedented success for the franchise beginning with the 2008-09 season. Prior to coming to the Nation’s Capital, Hanni served as Inside Sales Manager for the Los Angeles Clippers, after spending time in sales roles with the Memphis Grizzlies and Philadelphia Flyers, where he began his career in 2003.
