THE NATIONAL SPORTS FORUM HONORS CHRIS SINCLAIR WITH 2018 NSF OM FOUNDATION AWARD

Annual Award Recognizes an Impactful Individual in Sports & Entertainment Industry

San Diego, CA – The National Sports Forum (NSF) is delighted to name Chris Sinclair, Founder and President of The Anthem Group, as the recipient of the 2018 NSF OM Foundation Award. The award was presented at the 23rd Annual National Sports Forum in Frisco, TX on Monday, February 12th, 2018.

The NSF OM Foundation Award began in 2014 in partnership with the NSF’s official charity, the OM Foundation. The Award recognizes an individual in the sports & entertainment industry who goes above and beyond to better their community. Individuals are nominated by industry peers, and the recipient is selected by the NSF Steering Committee and OM Foundation Award Selection Committee.

Sinclair was nominated by several individuals across the sports & entertainment industry for the many positive and charitable initiatives he runs through The Anthem Group. These initiatives include aiding adults in transition from homelessness back to the workforce, raising money for underprivileged youth in the Boston area and in other parts of the country, and providing employment and job training to at-risk youths.

“We are thrilled to present Chris with the 2018 NSF OM Foundation Award and applaud him for the great charitable work he does through The Anthem Group,” said Ron Seaver, President of the National Sports Forum. “We love recognizing our Forum Family members who actively work to make a positive impact on others, and to see our first former Case Cup student win this award is truly special to us.”

“To be recognized by such an important and influential group within the sports and entertainment industry is significant,” said Chris Sinclair. “The National Sports Forum has a special place in our history as I first attended as a grad student at Ohio University. Even more humbling is the award’s partnership with the OM Foundation. To be even considered having close to the same caliber of impact as OM founder Bonner Paddock, the previous Award recipients, and all those that work at the OM Foundation is tremendous.”
