NSF Welcomes the Largest Steering Committee Class In 24 Year History.

San Diego, CA – The National Sports Forum (NSF) is thrilled to announce six new members as the Steering Committee “Class of 2019.” The Steering Committee is made up of a group of diverse industry leaders and professionals who oversee and assist with efforts for the National Sports Forum each year. The Steering Committee was founded in 1995, with a total of nine members to get the inaugural Forum off and running in January 1996. This year will be the 24th year of the Steering Committee and the six new members will make them the largest incoming class, since the initial class of 1995.

This year’s new members feature, Paige Farragut, Sr. Vice President, Ticket Sales & Service at the Texas Rangers, Bill Nielsen, Vice President, Partner Solutions at 4FRONT, Brian Richeson, Vice President, Corporate Partnership at the Tampa Bay Rays, Nikki Romolo, Sr. Director, Sporting Club Events at Sporting KC, Molly Wurdack-Folt, Director, Marketing Strategy at the Detroit Red Wings, and also welcomes former committee member David Martin, Managing Director of Motion2 Consulting, who is rejoining the Committee after a 13-year run from 2004-2016.

While most members may be joining the committee for the first time, each has a distinguished history with the National Sports Forum. At last year’s NSF in Frisco, Paige Farragut led the MLB Workshop, and was a super-panelist on Tuesday’s “That’s the Ticket” Super-Panel. Bill Nielsen is also an active member of the Forum. He is the longest-tenured incoming Steering Committee member and will be attending his 17th NSF this year in Las Vegas. Another new member, Brian Richeson was a panelist at the 2017 Meet-Up in Tampa. In addition, Nikki Romolo has attended two NSF’s, and last year, helped to launch the new Non-Traditional Revenue (NTR) program. Lastly, David Martin, will be returning to the Forum and Committee after a 2-year break, making this his 16th year at the Forum, and 14th year on the Steering Committee.

The six new members will join the existing 19 Steering Committee members, for a total of 25 members, and we look forward to working with them as we head into the 2019 National Sports Forum.
