Dori Silverman joined Coca-Cola in 1993 and currently serves as the Director of Marketing for Coca-Cola’s Sports and Entertainment strategic asset properties for over a third of the country – inclusive of team and facility deals within the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, NASCAR, MLS and entertainment venues. Silverman is responsible for the top to top relationships and has brought a refreshing perspective to Coke’s sports entities to rework, revitalize and position the beverage giants’ brand for growth. In this role, Silverman and her team focus on the retention, renewal and activation of sponsorship agreements by leveraging innovation, technology, and outside the box thinking in true collaboration with each team or partner. Her unique approach to brand marketing has been nationally recognized by industry leaders.
Silverman’s extensive background in sports and entertainment sponsorships also includes working for Super Sports – a division of Pace Entertainment, as the Director of Marketing where she managed strategic partnerships and media relationships in the concerts and motorsports events space. Silverman earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Tampa and is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She currently resides in Bethesda, Maryland with her husband Stuart, daughter Jessica and son Jake.
