Chad Seigler, NASCAR Vice President of Team Marketing Services, serves as a liaison to all NASCAR teams across the sanctioning body’s three national series and is a trusted advisor to team owners, track presidents and NASCAR drivers.
Seigler oversees NASCAR’s Team Marketing Services team, which prospects, presents and solidifies team, track and driver sponsorship programs; and Industry Operations team, which manages event details of more than 90 live events every year at 27 race tracks across the U.S. In addition, Seigler serves as project lead on multiple action items within NASCAR’s Industry Action Plan (IAP) including Next Generation Fans, team and track digital integration and best-in-class apparel development.
Prior to joining NASCAR in 2007, Seigler was Manager of Industry Relations at Sprint NEXTEL, where he served as the day-to-day liaison to all NEXTEL Cup track venues and managed the series sponsor relationships with NASCAR drivers, teams and owners.
As Sports Marketing Executive for the Carolina Panthers from 1999 – 2005, Seigler established and managed day-to-day marketing partnerships with 15 regional and national brands for the NFL franchise. In addition, he conceptualized and developed the successful 5K fundraiser with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, which has become the longest-running community initiative for the Carolina Panthers.
Seigler was named to Charlotte Business Journal’s (CBJ) annual “40 Under 40” class for 2014, where each year CBJ recognizes 40 individuals under the age of 40 who are making major strides in their careers and having a positive impact on their communities.
A native of Charlotte, N.C., Seigler earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. For 2015, he will serve on The National Sports Forum Steering Committee and currently is a board member for the North Carolina Motorsports Association. Seigler and his wife, Kelly, have two children.
