Each year the National Sports Forum features 80+ speakers from a variety of leagues, organizations, agencies and top spokespeople within the sports industry.
Below are the speakers for the 2017 National Sports Forum.
Mark Gress Jr.
Vice President, Recruiting
As Vice President, Recruiting for Prodigy Sports, Mark Gress Jr. brings more than a decade of experience in the sports industry. Since joining Prodigy Sports more than two years ago, Gress has successfully closed dozens of executive-level searches, including key roles with the Boston Bruins/TD Garden, PGA TOUR, Ultimate Fighting Championship, USA Taekwondo, Churchill Downs, SMG, New Orleans Saints/Pelicans, Miami Heat, and LA Clippers, among others. In addition to his recruiting work at Prodigy Sports, Gress performs senior leadership management and mentoring to the other recruiting staff at the agency.
Gress’ previous sports experience also includes stints at the Philadelphia Eagles in the Premium Services Department and at the Drexel University Athletics Department. For the last four years, he has also acted as an Adjunct Professor for Drexel University’s Graduate Sport Management Program.
He previously served three years as Senior Executive Recruiter for Turnkey Sports & Entertainment where he successfully recruited and filled numerous positions within the Sports and Entertainment field, including key, senior roles with organizations in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, NCAA and Motorsports.
Gress graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management (cum laude) and Master of Science degree in Education with a concentration in Sport Management (summa cum laude).
