Steve Dupee has been with GMR Marketing in Milwaukee, WI, since February of 2003. In his current role as Executive Vice President – Business Development & Marketing Communications, Steve is responsible for elevating the GMR brand, and driving new business efforts across GMR’s global footprint, creating solutions for potential clients through sports, music, entertainment, and lifestyle focused platforms.
Previously at GMR, Dupee was SVP – Client Management, overseeing the sports marketing efforts of multiple clients, including Comcast, Hershey’s and Northwestern Mutual.
He began his career at GMR focused on the sports marketing efforts of the Miller Brewing Company, where he worked hand in hand with Miller’s Sports & Alliance Marketing group to manage Miller’s vast portfolio of team and league partnerships.
Prior to joining GMR, Dupee spent two years as the Director of Business Development for Seaver Marketing Group/The National Sports Forum. While there, he was responsible for revenue-generating efforts, including tradeshow sales, sponsorship sales, and the creation of the NSF Alumni Association membership program.
Dupee began his career in the industry as Sports Sales Manager for the Chippewa Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau in Eau Claire, WI.
Steve is a recipient of both the Milwaukee Business Journal and SportsBusiness Journal “40 Under 40” awards, and in addition to his role on the NSF Steering Committee, Steve currently serves as an Advisory Board member for both Navigate Research and Full Sail University.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Steve and his wife Sarah live in Milwaukee with their children Braden, Olivia, Norah and Leo.
